Travifo

Create your first trip

Creating a trip on Travifo takes just a few minutes. A simple 3-step wizard guides you through the process so you can have your trip page ready in no time.

Step 1 — Basic info

From Dashboard > Trips, click "New trip" in the top-right corner to open the wizard.

Fill in the essentials:

  • Title (required) — the name of your trip (e.g., "Bali Adventure July 2026").
  • Destination (required) — where you're going.
  • Description (optional) — a short paragraph explaining what makes this trip special. You can always add it later.

Click "Continue" to move on.

Step 2 — First edition

An edition is a specific instance of your trip with its own dates, price, and capacity — for example, "July Group" or "October Special". You can add more editions later from the editor.

  • Edition name (optional) — a label to tell editions apart.
  • Start and end dates (optional) — when the trip takes place.
  • Price (optional) — a text field, so you can write "From $1,200" or "€890 per person".
  • Total slots (optional) — how many spots are available.
  • Publish this edition — check this box if you want the edition to go live right away. Otherwise it will be saved as a draft.

Click "Continue" to move on.

Step 3 — Visibility

Choose how you want to manage this trip:

  • Public trip — the trip appears on your Travifo profile. Anyone can see it and express interest.
  • Private trip — the trip won't appear on your profile. You share it via a direct link only. Ideal for custom or tailor-made trips.

If you choose a public trip, you'll also see options to show the price and show available slots on the public page.

Click "Create trip" to finish.

What happens next

You'll land in the trip editor, which has three tabs:

  • Details — title, destination, description, photos, itinerary, inclusions, and requirements.
  • Editions — create, edit, and activate editions from here.
  • Configuration — visibility settings, direct link, and questionnaire options.

If your trip is public but has no active editions, you'll see an amber banner at the top reminding you to go to the Editions tab and activate at least one edition. Until you do, the trip won't appear on your profile.

Tips

  • You don't need everything to be perfect right away — you can edit your trip at any time.
  • Start with a clear title, one edition, and a short description. That's enough to start capturing interest.
  • Upload high-quality photos from the Details tab — they make a big difference in how professional your page looks.
