Compatibility questionnaire

The compatibility questionnaire helps you understand your participants better before the trip starts. You can ask about travel preferences, habits, expectations, and anything that helps you build a compatible group.

This feature is available on PRO and PREMIUM plans.

How to access the questionnaire

Go to Dashboard → Trips and open a trip.
In the trip editor, scroll below the main form to find the "Compatibility Questionnaire" card (clipboard icon).
Click it to go to the questionnaire builder.

Building your questionnaire

The questionnaire builder has a Builder tab where you create and manage questions. Each question has:

Text — the question itself.
Type — choose from:
- Single choice — multiple options, the participant picks one.
- Scale — a numeric rating (e.g., 1 to 5).
- Text — free-form written answer.
Options — for single-choice questions, add as many options as you need.

You can reorder questions by dragging them, and edit or delete any question at any time.

Activating the questionnaire

Use the toggle at the top of the page to make the questionnaire active. When active, participants will be able to access it through their portal.

Viewing responses

Switch to the Responses tab to see all submitted answers. You can filter responses by edition to focus on a specific group.

AI compatibility analysis (PREMIUM)

On the PREMIUM plan, the Analysis tab provides an AI-powered compatibility score for each participant. This helps you identify potential group dynamics issues before the trip.

Tips

Keep it short — 5-8 questions is usually enough. Long questionnaires get lower completion rates.
Mix question types — combine single-choice for quick answers with a text question or two for more depth.
Ask about preferences, not personality — questions like "What's your ideal pace for a trip?" work better than abstract personality tests.
