Manage trip editions and dates

In Travifo, a trip is the concept (destination, description, photos), and an edition is a specific instance of that trip with its own dates, price, and capacity. This lets you run the same trip multiple times without duplicating anything.

How to manage editions

  1. Open a trip from Dashboard > Trips > click on the trip.
  2. In the trip editor, click the "Editions" tab (the second tab).
  3. You'll see all existing editions listed here, along with an "Add edition" button.

What each edition includes

Creating a new edition

From the Editions tab, click "Add edition" to open the creation form. Fill in the fields and save. The new edition is immediately linked to the trip.

Edition statuses

  • Draft — not visible on the public page. Use this while preparing.
  • Active — visible on the public page. Travelers can express interest.
  • Completed — the trip has ended. Kept for records.
  • Archived — hidden from everything. Use for old editions you don't need anymore.

Only Active editions appear on your public trip page with the interest form.

Editing and deleting editions

Click on any edition in the list to expand its details. From there you can edit any field or delete the edition. Each edition also has its own Document Types section (PRO) where you can configure what documents participants need to upload.

Tips

  • Use labels to tell editions apart when you have multiple dates for the same trip.
  • Keep old editions as "Completed" instead of deleting them — this preserves your lead and participant history.
  • You can have unlimited editions on PRO — run the same trip as many times as you want.
